Marble Heritage Ltd has been granted exclusive rights to sell reclaimed
materials plus surviving architectural features which were
originally part of the Lloyd's of London 1958 building (demolished for redevelopment in
2004).
This is a unique opportunity to acquire materials of
fabulous quality from a building of great historical importance –
the centre of the world’s insurance industry from its opening until 1986.
All of the materials have been carefully removed, itemised
and placed in storage, ready for shipping to any part of the world. They
include nearly all the marble panelling from the Underwriting Room, originally
the largest in Europe. We expect that the materials will be purchased as a complete set, for incorporation into a new building of character and fascinating historical resonance – whether as part of a corporate, retail, residential, leisure or palace development. The full set of materials and features is priced at £250,000. |
